Whats the point of patching now anyway?? its not like you'll be able to play it, But if you want to be that anal and be the 1st online then lulz to you.
CCP said it would be ready @ 6pm and its now 13.30pm and ppl are already complaining its taking too long!!?

The point is having appropriate upgrade information in place, as that's within the duty of a professional company to protect its paying users from malware, otherwise possibly being given to those as "the really shiny upgrade stuff" from malicious third parties.
Imagine somebody forging an "update" executable now, displaying EVE login screen, asking for your username/password just to send it to some remote server of your friendly EVE enemy....
This is why i said "whats the point"
Better to wait for an official link or auto update.
Maybe i didnt stress that point enough.

You managed to find this site, you managed to do your sissy rage, but yet you cant manage to read a simple dev bog about this patch...*sigh*
Because so many ppl DONT use the test server CCP thought it might level the playing field a little to hold back on seeding CC's, thus letting the slow learners catch up.
This time is now best used to work out where you want to place your CC's.
So stop your moaning its the same for all of us!
